Conor’s expertise covers the full project lifecycle—from feasibility studies and detailed design to commissioning and operational optimisation—ensuring systems perform to the highest standards of efficiency, resilience, and sustainability.

As both a technical leader and CEO, Conor combines engineering excellence with strategic vision, guiding Zero One to deliver high-performance, future-ready data centre solutions for the world’s most demanding clients.

Donal is a founding member and a Senior Programme Director within Zero One. Donal has over 20 years of experience working for large multinational organisations delivering large complex transformation projects. He has worked across a variety of industries including Data Centre, Utilities, Transport, Construction, Manufacturing, Financial Services and Technology. He has lead successful projects at SSE Networks, Scottish Water, Southern Water, Irish Water, Kerry Group, Dairygold, Dalata Group, Dublin Airport, FNZ, Meta and Ebay through his consulting career.

His core competencies include programme and cost management, operational excellence, planning & scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder coordination, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Director of Quality & Compliance

With over 19 years’ experience in highly regulated, technical environments, Ruth McGinn brings a proven track record of driving quality, compliance, and operational excellence in complex engineering projects. Ruth leads the development and implementation of ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001 systems, ensuring full regulatory compliance across our data centre design projects.

Her expertise spans vendor and subcontractor management, internal operations, and risk-based process improvement—delivering measurable results such as halving non-conformances and boosting training compliance to over 95%. Ruth’s approach blends meticulous auditing and governance with practical, on-the-ground problem-solving to maintain efficiency, safety, and client confidence throughout the project lifecycle.

Data Centre Building Automation System Engineer

Rob is a Chartered Building Services Engineer and published author with over 20 years of experience, bringing exceptional technical expertise and leadership to his role as Lead Building Automation Engineer at Zero One. He has delivered complex automation and control projects across mission-critical environments including hyperscale data centres, pharmaceutical manufacturing plants, and high-performance commercial buildings.

At Zero One, his leadership is defined by innovation, technical excellence, and a commitment to challenging the status quo, ensuring projects meet the highest standards, are delivered on time, and remain within budget.

Rob’s capabilities range from traditional Building Management Systems (BMS) to advanced process control systems with redundant PLCs, ensuring maximum reliability and efficiency.

In addition to control systems expertise, Rob holds certifications in networking and cybersecurity, enabling him to design robust, secure systems that align with modern IT and OT requirements. This dual competence places him at the vital intersection of operational and information technology.
